Learning Disabilities

Caring for people with learning disabilities, particularly children, is a very sensitive and specialist area of care and is something which Ignite Healthcare excel at. Our staff are experienced and are subject to on-going training to keep them abreast of changes to thinking and policy in this particular area of care. The challenges are unique, as are our staff and of course, our customers.

Supporting people with learning disabilities should not just be about managing those behaviours, but about helping them to learn, have fun and lead as independent a life as possible, whilst also keeping them safe and secure.

We are happy to work independent of or alongside primary carers or family members, either in the home or to assist when out and about.
